  • Mr. N. M. Rane, Dr .S. V. Taralkar, Dr. M. B. Patil for successful organization of Mega Event “SCHEMCON 2015” on the occasion of 75th birth anniversary of Honorable Dr. V. D. Karad & also generated Rs.1500000/- sponsorship for the event.
  • Dr. M .B. Patil received minor research project grant of Rs. 230000/- from SPPU under QIP programme
  • Mr. S.P. Shewale received grant of Rs.100000/- for two days state level workshop from SPPU under QIP programme

  • Faiza Patel, Sukalp Lamture, Mohd. Aatif Isar secured First prize for presenting the optimum solution for Industrial defined problem at Chentech, Gujarat 2018 on 22nd and 23rd February 2018.
  • Hemal Gadhariya, Hitesh Goyal, Dipali Sharma has won First Prize on topic “ Water Purification by Hen feathers and embed in a bio-plastic system which is also made of Hen rachis” in NSST-2016, GH Patel college of Engineering, Anand, Gujrat held on 23-24 Sept 2016
  • Manish Pawar, Pravin Chavan won the first prize in national conference in NCGSTD-2016 at Sinhgad College of Engineering for the paper presentation tiled “Enhancing Electricity Generation in MFC by Enlarging Surface of Proton Transmission and Aeration”.
  • Yashashree Watkar participated in “YUVA VARSHAM – 2016” International Youth Summit organized by Kerala State Youth Welfare Board, Department of Youth Affairs, Govt of Kerala from 27 to 29 January 2016 at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. She presented paper on “Youth – Breaking the Stereotype” in exemplary manner.

CHEM-O-MODEL

Model making competition was held in the department. It’s a very unique competition, in which students make models of any chemical plant completely on their own under the guidance of faculty.

  • Mr. Nikhil Jitendra Gomkale, Mr. Harish Dnyaneshwar Kadu, Mr. Mandar Manoharrao Lathkar, Mr. Ritesh Ambadas Mool, Mr. Aniket Rajendra Pachpande, Ms. Shivani Jagadale & Mr. Pranay Purushottam Sonkusale (Te Chemical) Has Won Second Prize In Model Making Competition At Chem-O-Model Organized By MIT Academy Of Engineering, Alandi, Pune.

CHEM-O-MODEL 2015-16

  • Himanshu Dahiwalkar, Harshada Deore, Harshal Sarode, Pradnya Sabale, Jitendra Chute and Ashish Sabal received first prize in model competition Chem- O-Model. Model was on “Nuclear Power Plant”
  • Ganesh Hake, Mangesh Hedgu, Ajit Rathod, Ankit Gawali, Nikhilesh Shende, Ajit Landge received second prize in model competition Chem-O-Model. Model was on “Atmospheric Distillation Column”
  • Akhilesh Malge, Bhakti Bhatt, Madhulika Dashputre, Prashant Pawanipagar, Vineet balan, Yashshree Watkar and Yash Desai received third prize in model competition Chem-O-Model. Model was on “Production of Ethanol”

SCHEMCON

Rohan Sali, Pinkesh Rothe has won First Prize on topic “Study of Moringa oliefera seed as natural coagulant and antimicrobial agent for river water ” in SCHEMCON-2017, NIT Rourkela Odisha held on 7-8 October 2017.

Vishnu Bharathan, Prachi Badge, Dheerajkumar Deepak Nikam has won First prize on topic “Synthesis Of Aloevera Based Silver Nanopaticles for Various Application” in oral presentation of SCHEMCON-2016.

Ayesha Arif Sayyed, Hitesh Goyal, Dipesh Avinash Kharote has won second prize on topic “Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis of Milk Adultration by using NALDI-TOF and IR Spectroscopy” in oral presentation of SCHEMCON-2016

  • Bhakti Bhatt, Yashashree Watkar, won 2nd prize in oral presentation of SCHEMCON-2015 on the paper titled “Solar Pond: A Non Convective Thermal Energy Source”.
  • Saurabh Saha, Aatish Chakrabarthi and Shaunak Paranjpe won 1st prize in poster presentation of SCHEMCON-2015 on the paper titled “Studies on Effect of Methanol Crossover on Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Performance”.
  • Jitendra Chute, Harshal Sarode and Pradnya Sable won 2nd prize in poster presentation of SCHEMCON-2015 on the paper titled “Extraction of Betulinic Acid from Syzgium Cumini (Jamun) Leaves”.
