MoU :Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC), Gurgaon, Haryana

Event Details :

MIT Academy of Engineering is keen to introduce Skill Based Programmes in the Courses / Programmes offered by the Institute. The Skill Based Programmes will be introduced in the following academic cycles of the Courses/Programmes of the Institute:

(a) Undergraduate Courses/Programmes in Engineering – 2 nd , 3 rd and 4 th year

(b) Other programs through TSSC industry partners – As mutually agreed from time to time.

The students undergoing Courses/Programmes at the Institute will be given Choices to select Skill Based Programmes from Telecom sectors in addition to the regular academic subjects.

Before the commencement of every academic year, the Institute will review with TSSC and consider introducing new courses as per the demand of the Industry.

Targeting the above goals, when implementing co-operation in Skill Based

Training, the Parties will direct their efforts towards:

  1. Efficient and practical application of experience gained through co-operation in the Skill Based Training and establishing a Centre of Excellence;
  2. Enhancement of direct links between the Institute & TSSC approved Training Partners to promote and enhance Skill Based Training;
  3. Introduction of Skill based course from TSSC Qualification Packs (QPs) in addition to the academic subjects OR plug in TSSC Skill Programs as minor modules in regular institute Programmes whichever is approved mutually.
  4. Review and Introduction of new Skill Based Programmes as per the demand of the Industry under vocations.
  5. Facilitating employment to the students post achieving certification by posting certified candidates information in its partnership portal.
  6. Implementation of co-operation programmes and projects throuTSSC approved training partners and 3 rd Party Certification by TSSC Approved Assessing Bodies.
  7. Joint certification courses which are Non-QP based and required to be assessed by TSSC

MoU : Micro Embedded Technologies, Pune

The main objective of this MOU is to enrich the technical education in new courses, teaching-learning process and to jointly work for enhancing the quality of education being imparted to the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering students. This MOU aims to enhance the quality of technical education and enable students to meet the industry needs and to be recognized globally.

The primary goals of the MOU with MicroEmbedded Technologies, Pune are:

  1. Sponsoring the Final Year (BE) projects (Max. 03 groups).
  2. Conduct special Guest lectures or workshop for students at MITAOE campus.
  3. Permit the students (Max. 06) and Faculties (Max. 02) for Internship or Industrial Training for one/ two weeks or one month in a year.
  4. Work with educational bodies or universities to align the industry requirements into the college curriculum.
  5. Technical Guidance for Lab Developments & Setups.
  6. Provide a platform for academicians for research and consultancy work at their premises or in industry.
  7. Assistance in research projects for faculties to enhance quality of education.
  8. Event Sponsorship for various technical events at MITAOE.
  9. Organize joint programmes viz. Faculty Development Programme for academicians and researchers to bridge the Industry-Institute gap.
  10. Sharing Industry oriented-courseware and Technology.
  11. MicroEmbedded will arrange Guest Lecture from reputed Semiconductor Company viz. Freescale.

3-Day Workshop on Raspberry Pi for T.E students (all branches) from February 24-26, 2017 by the Industry experts viz. Mangesh Edake, Technical Manager, Johnson Controls, Pune, Ashish Bhopale, Embedded System Developer, FourByte Embedded Solutions, Pune and Neeraj Kale, Embedded Software Developer, MicroEmbedded Technologies, Pune.

MoU : Logic Power, Vadgaon (Bk), Pune

In accordance with a mutual desire to promote a greater interaction between industries and Institute, Logic Power, Pune and MITAOE, agree to work together to achieve the following objectives:

  1. To bridge the gap between the industry and academia.
  2. To enrich young talent pool from MITAOE by enhancing their technical competencies to match industry requirements.
  3. To train students and help them to improve and upgrade their skill sets for better job prospects and making them employable.
  4. To establish research facilities at MITAOE according to the industrial needs.
  5. To establish proper laboratory infrastructure by including advance and latest tools and resources.
  6. To promote an interaction between the students and professionals in the industry.
  7. Enabling the students to take up the industry defined problem definitions and to solve them effectively as a part of curriculum activity.

Event Details :

One-day Seminar on Microchip’s Tools for Project Development on December 30, 2016. This program was taken under the MoU. Logic Power has been the Sole Licensed Tool Manufacturer of Microchip Tools in India since 2004 & has been into Embedded Development since 1989.

Scope of the MoU :

The objective of this MOU is to enrich the technical education in new courses, teaching-learning process and to jointly work for enhancing the quality of education being imparted to the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering students. The goals of the MoU with JSG Electronics, Pune are:

  1. Conduct special guest lectures or workshops for students at MITAOE campus every year.
  2. Work with educational bodies or universities to align the industry requirements into the autonomy curriculum/syllabi.
  3. Technical guidance for laboratory setups and provide development boards.
  4. Provide a platform for academicians for research and consultancy work at their premises or in industry.
  5. Assistance in research projects for faculties to enhance quality of education.
  6. Event sponsorship for various technical events at MITAOE.
  7. Organize joint programme viz. Faculty Development Programme (FDP) for academicians and researchers to bridge the industry-institute gap.
  8. Sharing industry oriented-courseware and technology.

Event Details :

Add on module – “App Development” conducted under Entrepreneurship Development Program during 9th July to 31st August 2016 in E&TC Dept. Total 44 students from SE, TE and BE were enrolled. After successfully completion of this course students are able to design apps for Android, i-OS and Amazon, and they can also publish apps on Google play, i-Store.
