OVERVIEW OF PROFILE :

Ashish B. Itolikar is working as an Assistant Professor in Physics in the School of Humanities and Engineering Sciences, MIT AOE, Pune. His research interests consist of the dielectric properties of earth resources, microwave, remote sensing, SAR data processing, etc. He has published 12 (twelve) research papers in international journals indexed in Scopus/ Web of Science/ UGC Approved-CARE list and presented 14 (fourteen) research papers in international and national conferences.He received the 3rd prize for his paper presentation at the International Conference on Material Environmental Science at Shivaji University Kolhapur (ICMES-2018). Two Indian patents are to his credit. He worked as a reviewer for international journals, viz., the European Journal of Remote Sensing, Taylor & Francis, IEEE Wireless Communication Letters, Material Research Express, and IOP Publishing, UK, Journal of Microwave, Optoelectronics, and Electromagnetic Applications, Brazilian Society of Electromagnetism, Brazil. He has delivered guest lectures, organized FDP as a convener, and worked as Chairman (Technical) for an international conference. He has actively participated in thirty-nine (39) FDPs, STTPs, WSs, and conferences. He is a life member of Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT).




  • Received Three Gold Medals  From VNSGU, Surat for securing highest marks in S.Y. B.Sc.
  • Received a cash prize of Rs. 2000/- for securing third highest marks in T.Y.B.Sc.
