Centralised Allotement Process 2021

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (SCETC) will begin the seat allotment procedure on December 3rd, 2021. The MHT CET 2021 counselling and seat assignment process is being conducted online by the exam authorities. MHT CET 2021 CAP round 1 has released a provisional category-by-category seat matrix. Candidates must first log on with their MHT CET credentials to check their allotment, after which they must report to the chosen centre at the time stated.

Seat allocation for MHT CET 2021 will most likely be done in three rounds.The process will help interested candiadtes to select their desired institutes across Maharshtra and get a seat allotted in their desired branch and colleges as per availability. MHT CET 2021 Seat Allotment

MHT CET 2021 seat allotment will be published in online mode solely through a centralised allotment process by the exam authorities for all rounds. The candidate's seat will be assigned based on their performance in the MHT CET 2021 exam. Higher grades will boost a student's chances of being accepted. Seat allocation for the MHT CET 2021 will be dependent on the selections made and the availability of seats. Students can follow the detailed step-by-step process outlined below when the MHT CET seat allocation is completed:

Step 1: Login and download the MHT CET 2021 preliminary seat allotment letter as a PDF. The allotment letter will provide information about the designated institution/college. They should print the letter because it will be needed during the admissions process.

Step 2: Reporting to the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) - Following the seat allotment process, students must report to the reporting centre to confirm their seat allotment and pick alternatives for further MHT CET seat allotment rounds. Candidates can choose to freeze, slide, or float their assigned seats.

  • Freeze: Students who are pleased with their seat assignments and do not wish to participate in subsequent rounds of MHT CET 2021 counselling must choose the "Freeze" option.
  • Slide: Students who want to accept their assigned seat but are also open to upgrading to a higher chosen course within the same institute should select the "Slide" option. It should be noted, however, that if the candidate is assigned to a higher preferred course, the prior seat will be cancelled.
  • Float: Students who have been assigned a seat in earlier seat allocation rounds and now wish to upgrade to any course at any college or institute must choose "Float." The previously assigned seat will be cancelled if they are upgraded to a different course or institute.

Step 3: Verification of documents at the designated institute - Candidates must go to the allotted institute on time and have their documents verified. They'll have to pay the balance of the charge there.


MHT CET Counselling 2021

If there are vacancies, there will be three rounds of counselling followed by a spot round/institutional round. Candidates must register and fill out their college preferences in order of preference. IN order to get the desired college and branch one must have their documents checked after registering for the same. Alsdo, candidates who qualified the MHT CET do not have to pay a fee for counselling.
