ECO-FRIENDLY GANESHA IDOL MAKING

Department of Electronics & Telecommunication under Prakruti Club and Student Association ETSA had arranged a workshop which focused to prepare Ganesha Idols in eco-friendly manner i.e. by using a specific kind of soil called ‘Shado’. If Eco friendly idols painted with natural colors then we can reduce Water pollution. Today Maharashtra Pollution Control Board is also urging to celebrate pollution free Ganesho-utsav. Objective of this workshop was to make a Green Idol at home, celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in an eco friendly manner and immerse the idol in a green way. An eco-friendly Ganesh festival is the need of time. The mentor for the session was the renowned sculptor Shri. Pranit Ghate.
