At MITAoE the department of chemical engineering was established along with the institution in 1999. Ever since the start of the curriculum, the department has shown outstanding results that keep on motivating students to be a part of this university.

All the faculties and students of this department are members of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE). Not only does the faculties of this department focus on the course they look forward to educating their students in add-on courses such as piping design & engineering, AutoCAD, MATLAB, and the latest software technologies like ASPEN ONE 8.6, PDMS, AutoCAD, HTRI, Unisim, etc. to keep them up to date in every field. Some of the major highlights of the department of chemical engineering are:

• An annual event is organized by the Students’ Chapter of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE) at MITAoE named as Students’ Chemical Engineering Congress,(SCHEMCON).

With the vision of Global Excellence in research, teaching, and technology the department of computer engineering was established at MITAoE in 1999. The basic teaching philosophy of the department is a problem and project-based learning to give a student reasons to be a software engineer. The institution also plans to provide full-time internships for final-year students in order to help them become well-versed with professional ethics.

Apart from that the department practices various innovative methods like digital campus projects, M.tech trimester patterns, club activities such as Google Club, Fire-Fox, Club, Laugh out Loud Club, Hacker Rank, etc.

This department was established by MITAoE to provide specialization to willing students in the field of telecommunication. The main focus of faculties is to enhance the ability of students in the field of communication engineering such as satellite, wireless and optical, mobile, audio and video, etc. There are continuous events conducted and attended by the faculties of the departments. Events such as conferences, seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and industrial visits are organized frequently. An add on a module named as on ‘App Development

Entrepreneurship Development Program’ was recently conducted for S.E, T.E, and B.E students of the Department. Further, there is also some intensive research work carried out by the faculties and students of the department that is funded by the Savitribai Phule Pune University, AICTE, and Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India. To create a theoretical and practical learning environment the department of electronics and telecommunication engineering has well-equipped laboratories with all the modern equipment like Digital storage Oscilloscope, Multi storage Oscilloscope, PLC, Spectrum Analyzer, Flow Measurement and Control system, Microwave sources, and active, passive devices, etc. The department aims at achieving an amalgamation of co-curriculum, research, and extracurricular-based education.

Introducing the department that is a combination of computer science with Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The department works with the aim of activity-based learning in order to engage students in innovative techniques. The faculties are trained to conduct many activity-based learning methods that are organized on national or international levels. Further, the department does not only focuses on the academic excellence of its students but also on their overall development which includes a few features such as:

Cisco Network Academy under which few certified trainers provide training on CCNA, apart from regular teaching.
