OVERVIEW OF PROFILE :

Dr Sushil Kumar Magade is an associate professor in Department of Civil Engineering. He has Completed M. Tech. in Structures from WCE, Sangli and Ph.D. from VNIT, Nagpur. His research topic was numerical analysis of pile foundation. His key interest areas are Applied mechanics, structural analysis, dynamics of structures, Foundation design, EFM. He has guided projects such as dynamic analysis of elevated water tank, structural irregularities, retaining wall dynamic analysis and many more related to his interest areas.

He is having the fundamental knowledge of ETABS, STADD.Pro, SAP2000. He is keenly interested on the problems related to Analysis and design of RC and steel structures, material testing, foundation design, structural health monitoring, etc.

FORE FRONT AREA OF RESEARCH : Foundation Engineering, Numerical analysis of foundation, Finite element modelling for foundation., Structural analysis, Structural Modelling techniques.
