OVERVIEW OF PROFILE :

Dr. Shrikant is working as Assistant Professor in School of Computer Engineering and Technology at MIT Academy of Engineering Pune, INDIA. He has pursued PhD in the field of Human-Computer Interaction from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in March 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Pradeep Yammiyavar. He worked as research scholar in Usability Engineering - Human-Computer Interaction (UE-HCI) lab, IIT Guwahati which is India’s first HCI lab. He is recipient of prestigious “Rajiv Gandhi National Research Fellowship” from Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Govt. of India to pursue PhD degree. His research interest includes Human-Computer Interaction, Usability Engineering, Human Errors, Augmented and Virtual Reality and Machine Learning. He has published many research papers and conducted workshop in International Conferences and Journals. The conferences like CHIuXiD, INTERACT, IHCI, HWID, ICoRD, HWWE in which he had participated and presented papers. He is also associated with many National and International conference as Co-chair, Reviewer, Secretary and Volunteers.

  • Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan MIT AOE’s one project titled “Augmented Reality based education application for illiterate and kids” get selected for funding of one lakh rupees.
  • Recipient of Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF) for pursuing Ph.D. from Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India (2011-2016).

  • Students received Second Prize for Hackathon "VIRTUALSTROM: HACKATHON 1.0” for one UBA project.
