OVERVIEW OF PROFILE

Mr. Suresh Sabapathy is visiting faculty at School of Electrical Engineering. He has industrial experience of around 38 years working in motor drives and control. He has successfully developed DC / BLDC motor drives and control for precise positioning of huge dish antennas (45-m in diameter) of the Giant meter radio telescope (GMRT) world’s largest telescope built by Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) a premier research institute in India in science and mathematics. His research interest lies in the domain of power electronics, systems & control, drives and control
