Overview of Profile:
Dr. Subrata Bhowmik is working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at MIT Academy of Engineering, Alandi. Dr. Bhowmik completed his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad in Mechanical Engineering. He started his career as a Guest Faculty at The ICFAI University Tripura in 2017. He also worked at NIT Agartala, NIT Silchar and NIT Calicut as Junior Research Fellow, Project Associate and Assistant Professor (Adhoc), respectively. His teaching interest includes IC Engine, Thermal Engineering, Heat Transfer and Automotive Engineering.
Fore Front Area of Research: IC Engine and Alternative Fuels, Combustion Diagnosis, Dual Fuel Combustion, Low-temperature Combustion, Vehicular Exhaust Emissions, and Applied Artificial Intelligence and Optimization.
