MITAOE Shines Again at Smart India Hackathon 2025!

MIT Academy of Engineering proudly continues its winning legacy at the Smart India Hackathon (SIH). After securing four victories last year, our students have once again showcased their excellence and innovation. This year, two exceptional teams from MITAOE emerged as WINNERS at SIH 2025, each earning a prize of ₹1,50,000.

Team Eklavya developed an innovative AI-driven solution that addresses the complexities of flexible, multidisciplinary learning as envisioned in NEP 2020 — a remarkable demonstration of applied AI and problem-solving excellence.

Problem Statement (25240): AIML-Based Translation for Nepali and Sinhala Languages

Offered By: NTRO (National Technical Research Organization)

Team Brahmastra presented Sanskriti, an offline, AI-powered translation system that converts Nepali and Sinhala text to English, ensuring accurate, seamless multilingual communication. Their innovative approach highlights the potential of AI to bridge language gaps effectively.
