Program Overview
The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning domain focuses on developing intelligent, adaptive, and autonomous systems using machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and agentic AI. The program emphasizes problem-solving, innovation, and real-world applications across sectors such as healthcare, robotics, finance, and smart systems. The program offers a multidisciplinary, choice-based learning approach through minor tracks and emerging domain electives, enabling students to gain cross-domain expertise and flexibility aligned with their career goals.The department encourages AI project development and deployment across advanced computing platforms including Cloud Computing, High Performance Computing (HPC), and emerging Quantum Computing environments. The curriculum is aligned with national initiatives like the IndiaAI Mission, promoting responsible AI, digital transformation, and global competitiveness.
The program also emphasizes Physical AI (AI integrated with real-world systems such as robotics, IoT, and cyber-physical systems) and Sovereign AI (self-reliant, secure, and nationally governed AI ecosystems), ensuring ethical, transparent, and responsible AI development.

Admission Process
Candidates are advised to follow the process for admission to First Year Engineering courses as published by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State from time to time



Refundable Caution Money Deposit
As per the FRA norms the student is supposed to pay the refundable caution money of Rs. 25,000/- for the following courses at the time of admission of the first year students.
