The NSS (National Service Scheme) is a Central government scheme of India conducted by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. The NSS scheme was firstly started in the year 1969 in India. It is a voluntary program that encourages youngsters, college aspirants, and +2 stage students to work in creating a university grounds community linkage.

The prime objective behind the NSS program is to help everyone who needs it, to bring a productive change in the standard of living and the mode in which people lead their lifestyle with dignity.
