OVERVIEW OF PROFILE :

Mr. Pravin G. Suryawanshi has completed his B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from University Institute of Chemical Technology, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, Maharashtra. He has completed his M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Nirma University, Ahmedabad. He has completed his Ph.D. in chemical Engineering from IIT Guwahati, Assam in Chemical Engineering. He has 2.5 Years of industrial experience as a Process Engineer and about 5 years of research experience. His broad area of interest is Chemical Process Development, Renewable Energy Engineering, Biorefinery Process Development, and Environmental Process Design. His specific research experience includes Process intensification and integration, Algal biorefinery process development, Extraction of phytochemical from biomass, Hydrothermal liquefaction of biomass, Kinetic analysis of thermal degradation process, and Industrial wastewater treatment. Also, he has experience of content creation for NPTEL MOOCs - Energy Conversion Technologies (Biomass and Coal) and Renewable Energy Engineering: Solar, Wind and Biomass Energy Systems. His industrial process experience includes Leaching, Liquid-liquid extraction, Electroplating, Crystallization, Flocculation, Adsorption, Chromatographic separation, Mass and Energy balance, PFD & P&ID drafting, etc.
