The Artisia Event was going to be held on 24th March 2020 but due to the tragic emergence of the COVID-19 event was cancelled. But the club members were not happy with the cancellation of the event, we have decided to do it on Social Media platform. On occasion of World Art Day team decided to conduct Artisia 2k20 event Virtually. Instagram (@mitaoe_aalekh) platform is used for connecting maximum participants. It was first ever experience of arranging the art event virtually for team AALEKH. The event contained competitions, workshops, exhibition and interesting Art FactBook. The planning of Artisia 2020 was started from 5th April and in after getting confirmation team started the work. The entire team was divided into different sections for proper management, i.e. registration team, social media and promotions team, competitions team, workshop team, technical trouble shooting team, video making & editing team. The members enthusiastically took part in the event management. The competitions and workshop were open for everyone.

The event started from 13th April – 17th April

The club received registrations from all over the colleges of Pune for example; PICT Pune, VIT, Sinhgad, College of Engineering, and also from various others colleges across cities in Maharashtra like R.C. Patel Institute of Technology Shirpur, Somalwar Nikalas Mahila Mahavidalayan Nagpur

The event organized were:
1) Artists in Action: Certified Video workshop for learning new artforms.
2) Art Mystery: Art Quiz
3) Creative Snaps: Creative Photography Competition
4) Art and You in A Flash: Personal Photo Booth
5) ARTISTIC affair: The Art Factbook: facts were posted daily on our Instagram page
6) State-of-the-Arts: art exhibition

The workshop was of Calligraphy, Origami, Mandala, Painting and Negative Sketching, Workshop was conducted in the form of video keeping in mind the webinar times and other connectivity issues, the link of the record videos were mail to the registered participants and the access was provided from morning 10 to night 10 on the day of workshop and the quiz was conducted on the respective next day.

On the main day i.e. on World Art Day 15th April team organized activity named ART MYSTERY which was basically a quiz related to art facts and its basic knowledge. Creative Snaps: Creative Photography Competition was also organized by the team in which one have to click the photo in creative manner using their creative mind.

Art and You in A Flash: In this one need to post their artistic photography (such as face painting, nail art, photo from different dimensions, dress designing) on Instagram and tag @mitaoe_aalekh.

Starting from 13th April to 19th April everyday team posted some interesting facts about art on Instagram handle @mitaoe_aalekh

Team also made one video on different artworks made my members as Art Exhibition i.e. STATE- OF -THE-ARTS.

The certificates for attending the workshop and qualifying the quiz is been provided to the participants online on their respective mails.

The feedback and suggestions were noted by the after the workshop and competitions, some feedbacks are “I learnt a lot from all the session of artist in action. In artist action I loved painting session and calligraphy also the negative sketching part. I think all things will help in my future of creativeness. Thank You” ; “Discovered many facts regarding origami” Also we received few suggestions as “Keep doing such great activities frequently and also do upload on YouTube which would increase your reach within the social media and people” ; “I guess, In Art exhibition rather than posting a single video, we must have post some artworks every half hour or every hour, so everyone's Instagram would be filled with arts and those who have interest will wait for art works. So it would look like a celebration. This is what I think...”

The workshop and competitions engaged the students in this lockdown period and help them to utilize the free time in enhancing their creative skills. Artisia 2020, the first ever virtual art competition event was successfully conducted.
